Mums,Millionaires, Bootcamps and Dreams !
I spent a very inspiring weekend with some amazing women this weekend at The Millionaire Bootcamp for Women
The speakers were all inspiring women doing extraordinary things - but they started out taking ACTION - one small step at a time and doing the ordinary, mundane and tiny things really thoroughly and really consistently.
They have visions and dreams and they have turned their goals into dreams with a date, just by taking small steps every single day, every single week and every single month.
It was truly wonderful to be in a room full of over 1,000 women all sharing their stories, sharing their dreams and sharing their passions. And I was struck more and more as the weekend went on , by the wonderful women sitting in the audience doing amazingly inspiring things quietly, gently and passionately – from wanting to build a school in Africa , to setting up a Ski School for Special Needs in the Alps.
Women do things differently ……. we do things collaboratively, we do things from a nurturing, caring perspective as we want to help each other succeed, and it was very powerful and humbling to listen to people’s stories, their dreams and the steps they are all taking to fulfilling them - hungry to learn how to get their messages “out there” into the world.
For many it must have felt overwhelming, for many it must have a felt empowering and for me it felt like I’m not the only one on a mission to inspire millions ….. one parent at a time!
I felt I had been drawn to the right place at the right time!
I felt supported.
So, today as you go about starting your new week – what are your dreams?
What are your hopes for the future for yourself, for your family, for your kids and for the world?
What do you need to believe about yourself to believe in the power of your dreams?
What support do you need to make sure you feel nurtured, buoyed up and guided along your journey?
It’s all about designing the life you want, empowering yourself and not allowing your life to be run on default, blaming others, the recession, your background, your parents, your ethnicity or the fact that you are a woman.
It’s about finding your life’s purpose, listening to your soul and soaring into the world making a difference – in a small or in a big way just committed to making that difference.
What was missing for me at the Bootcamp was a powerful and passionate woman speaking about the enormous importance of giving the children of the world the gift of self esteem through being a wonderful Mum and the importance of being a positive and inspiring female role model – so maybe that’s MY goal for next year !!!!
